The American Advertising Federation (AAF) District 6 has elected Chris McDonald, Principal and Creative Director of Designworks: advertising+marketing and 2nd term President of the Flint Area Advertising Federation, to the position of State Director for Michigan. McDonald will assist the AAF D6 Lt. Governor of Michigan in carrying out the work and mission of the AAF 6th District.
McDonald has been a member of the Flint business community since 1999 when he founded Designworks, the award-winning, full service ad agency that he currently operates in Grand Blanc, MI. He has previously served as FAAF ADDY Awards Chair for three years, as well as on the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce 100th Anniversary Gala Committee, and will soon start serving on the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint marketing committee.
The Flint Area Advertising Federation is composed of local advertising professionals. FAAF works to enhance the professional development of club members, while increasing recognition for the advertising industry and giving back to the local community. The Flint Area Advertising Federation is a local affiliate of the American Advertising Federation, a national organization that represents over 50,000 members national in the advertising industry.
